Honey 2 came in with 10 pups. Feeding that many almost killed her. She went down really quick and we had to separate her and the babies and they all did well. Since then, her babies have been rescued but there was no room for Mom so she is still here. She has been at the shelter since Oct. and we desperately need to find her a place to go before the holiday. I've attached some pictures.
Staff really bonded to this sweet girl. She was exhausted upon intake and they took the time to nurse her back to health - caring for her for two months. Hats off to the ACO and her staff! They gave her the greatest gift of all - her life. As sad as Honey will be to say goodbye to her friends, they are all rooting for her.
