Update! Joe is about 11 months (est), about 70 lbs, good with kids, but can be overpowering just because of his size ;) I have a 7,5, and 2 year old and have never had a problem. He has a fur brother that he loves. Not sure about cats. He tries to play with my neighbors cat...but the cat runs from him...so not sure.
