Foster Update!
He is such a sweetheart!! He is very gentle and loves people. He cuddles if we call him up, but has been sleeping on a dog bed in the bedroom. He is housetrained and very curious. He is a total counter surfer and a food hound, but is so sweet about it. He will hang around and stalk you for scraps, but takes No very well and is not even slightly aggressive with people or dogs around food or treats. He is crate trained and probably needs to be crated when left alone for a while. He got into a little trouble when we left him for a few hoursgot into a container of oatmeal hehe. But he goes right into the crate and does not mind it at all.
He is still really calm. We have walked him and played fetch and he will run and bounce around the yard. Then he just hangs out inside with us. He will need some work off leash, but he usually comes when called and is such a people dog that I dont think he will wander. He has also played a little with Grace so I think he will like to have a doggie buddy around too.
Smooch is a black lab mixed with adorable! We named him Smooch because the ACO said hes a kisser! He is about six months, 60lbs, super friendly and well mannered. Smart too. Like all labs, he loves to eat and has a special affinity and fondness for the water. |
