7.4.08 Update from his foster:
Barnaby is a sweet, friendly, energetic 40lb 1 year old Lab mix with a constant wagging tail and a happy face. Barnably loves to play with other dogs and is quite smitten with the 3 year old female Golden in his foster home. He loves to be outside with his 2 Golden companions and foster Mom and needs a fenced in yard. For a little guy who has not spent much time in a home, he has not exhibited any destructive behavior. He has not tried to chew, jump on furniture or counter surf. In the house, he is quite content to lie at your feet and watch TV. He sleeps through the night in our bedroom on his dog bed. Barnaby loves to take long walks and walks well on a lead although he has not had any formal training. A smart little chap! He is a very quiet boy and only barks when the UPS truck shows up and when he wants to engage in play. He lets you know when it is potty time by going to the door. He is talky :) When he is content or wants attention or play, he makes a little grrr sound. Don't mistake this for a growl, Barnaby does not have a mean bone in his body and loves to give kisses.
