Meet Ben...a big ole teddy bear of a dog. He is a 2-4 year old yellow lab with a huge heart and playful demeanor. Gifted with a sensitive temperament and sweet disposition, Ben is signature lab - very easy going, calm, an extra-sweet boy through and through. Lovable, cheery and flat out good-natured, he is a benchmark of sorts by which all labs could be measured - a perfect gentleman. Nowhere is this more evident than while out for a walk, he's mannered and responds beautifully on a leash! The minute he feels the lead tighten he slows down and heels by your side. OH! he has a hallmark wiggle too - a whole body shimmy really - and it appears often and on cue while in view of new people and other dogs...introductions aside, he's a friend on the make and the more the merrier. He's quickly become a favorite of volunteers and is content just hanging out. Ben is SUCH a fabulous dog, we are convinced he brightens the day of all those he encounters. He's struck a chord in all of us, come see what he'll do for you.

Ben is such a great dog. He's lovable, good on leash, playful and good with other dogs. He's becoming a favorite of volunteers and waiting patiently for his new family to show up.
