This shelter picture is simply an injustice to Buz!! If he knew, he'd be up in arms, err ...'paws'. He favors a PB black lab puppy and we are on a mission to capture this handsome fella on film!! Check back soon for updated pictures and a video clip to boot!!!
Buzby has caused well, quite a buzz around ALR ~ and everywhere in between it seems. He's an internet star of sorts, many in Atlanta were following his story. He is the adorable other half of a sib pair who were owner surrendered to a kill shelter. Sadly, his sister was adopted out leaving Buz behind. That raised awareness and all kinds of empathy for this precious pupster who was at an absolute loss without his sib. It also launched him into the limelight. What to do, what to do? Go get him of course! And that's what we set out to do.
Buz fell for our vol, or was it the other way around? We're not sure but the story we got, was Buz was so enamored, he climbed up and into the front seat, planting his bum square in his lap. Head on his chest, eyes up. Who could resist? He's a sturdy little pup - he wasn't going anywhere. So he drove that way.... Buzby lap surfing the duration of the trip :)
This 3 mos old has been though a lot in his short life, but nothing dampens his spirit. He's completely socialized, appropriately subdued in the midst of his elders but LOVING anyone who'll deign to play with him. He is convinced anything within his sight line is there to play with him and if not why bother! He revels in his own spunk - and truly delights in himself. He's always got an eye to his human, making absolutely certain we don't miss a minute of his antics. He's pleased as punch when we praise him and takes correction with puppy grace.
He is soft, black and silky - with the ears of a weim and the sparklers of a lab - a subtle white blaze completes his look. If those same sparklers just happen to catch your eye, let him know!
