Duke is a large purebred Black Lab who was picked up as a stray wearing a choke collar but sadly, no other form of ID. After a short stint at the shelter, no one came in to claim him, so he became the newest inductee to ALR. He appears to have been very well cared for, his coat is glossy and soft and he came in already neutered and mannered ~ telltale signs that Duke was a family pet. Its hard to imagine someone was not searching for him high and low.
Handsome, handsome boy ~ Duke is young, between 1 to 2 years old, very friendly and gets along well with other dogs. He is not an excited jumper which is admirable for his age and like all labs, adores stretching his legs and leashed walks. |
