Hardy is a little lamb, he's the type of pup that will skip right into your heart. Wholly huggable, Hardy is a 6 mos old lab mix that weighs a mere 20 lbs ~ and he is destined to stay this size. His body and fur resemble that of a yellow lab pup, but his face is decidedly narrower, his nose leaner. His smile however is equally as broad and his mannerisms characteristic of a lab. As small as he is he is not a jumper, does not make a peep while crated and has a tendency to neatly tuck his paws under while at rest.
He's a delicate chap too - not at all rough and tumble. Not a bull in the china shop type. He loves other dogs, welcomes their attention and is playful, but rarely initiates. He is at times completely unassuming - Hardy does not ask for attention, but he adores it all the same. Its hard to resist the inclination to pick him up, he makes for the perfect lap warmer, but then you realize he is equally content to lay at your feet. He's all around an impressive little dog - unwavering in his charm. Gentle and sweet and just happy to be alive. |
