Finally! Ta da! This is Kiss (now known as Hurley). He is a two year old boxer mix who is pretty confused at the moment. And no its not because he has a girly name, for which he flat out refused to respond to! In fact he was indignant that a bully breed with such a stunning physique should have to endure the downright humiliation of having such a feminine name, especially in front of his female counterparts! By steadfastly ignoring "Kiss" and responding only to 'Hurley' this issue was promptly & assuredly resolved between himself and his foster and we all agree Hurley suits him, but no one more than Kiss himself! He's no sissy after all. Instead, his confusion stems from the fact that he's back in boarding after a long term foster had a job change which required certain travel. This foster was very special to Hurley and vice versa and no doubt Hurley misses him - he was well loved. He had the full run of the house, and took that position very seriously - aside from sunning himself whenever the whim hit him - he fancied himself number two and was allowed wide berth. Hurley would like to point out he's fully housebroken and trustworthy. He's also not above spoiling himself on occasion - and might he add being spoiled again by you, if it suits you. For the moment, he's pretty much taken the entire situation in stride and being a pretty good champ about it. That's his way, somewhat reserved, slightly impertinent, independent but lovable all the same. And while we've managed to placate him with some savory treats and long walks, this special boy is really aching for a true friend for life and a yard to romp. We are pretty sure he would prefer that yard be canine and feline free...he's pretty specific about those worthy of entertaining and those he'd rather do without. Mostly its a function of his personality and his desire to focus the adoration where it should be - you see, he has a really BIG heart - it requires constant tender...the payback of which is doubly rewarding...Maybe even resulting in a smooch or two - just don't ask for a 'Kiss'!
