3.5 update
Mac is out of boarding and has a foster family of his own! She snapped a few quick pics of him and sent the below update...

Sorry about the dirt on the nose, but he insists on burying all his treats ... :)
I was trying to do this with very little help and forgot to wipe his nose off... He's a true love, he just wants to run and run and explore his new surroundings. He will make someone a wonderful companion. Once he tires of running, he settles right in and is a great buddy. He knows sit and is a good pupil, he tends to lose focus at times as he is wowed by the world around him! We attribute that to Mac having been in boarding for a while and now coming into his own :)
Mac is a very sweet, dashing, refined black lab. He is approximately 1 ~ 1 1/2 years old, fully vetted and ready for a home of his own after a rather long stint in boarding. Fortunately his tireless rescuer contacted us about Mac and we are thrilled to help him out of boarding and into a home of his own where he can run and play with relish. He's well loved at the boarding facility ~ affectionate, very friendly and likes to snuggle. A wonderful dog with a great personality and character to spare...he also does well on a leash, is agreeable to long walks and loves the rush of wind through his ears and the feel of grass underfoot. We'd venture to say, he'd love to be your new walking buddy!
