Meet Maddox...and you will come to the same conclusion I have.. that Maddy is quite possibly the PERFECT dog. The total package ~ I love him to pieces. Full of character and personality plus, he has the absolute sweetest nature. Loves to just chill.
We've debated his heritage, trying to determine what magical mix accounts for this impeccably
good natured, out and out 'good' dog. We've concluded he's definitely part black lab and the dilute is either dane or possibly deerhound. If the latter, he's a very huggable hound - HE likes to do the hugging and excels on this front. In part, his slender proportions lend itself to this, he is long and lean with legs that seemingly go on forever - incredibly refined and boyishly handsome. Alas, capturing him on film has been a challenge - he's far too curious about the camera and not much of a poser. Its of little consequence however, as Maddox is the type of dog you must meet in person to realize the beauty inside and out.
He's currently being fostered with 4 other dogs, young to old, playful to sedate, friend to one and all and has met all our new ALR recruits composed and immediately at ease. To hear me talk, one might conclude I am his foster... to be clear, I'm not. I'm only one of his ardent, not so secret admirers trying to ensure Maddox finds a family to adore and be adored by .
