Oscar was found due to a whimper...he had fallen behind a pallet of old furniture and miscellany & could not figure his way out. We couldn't figure out where the whimper was coming from? For two days we looked through the windows of an abandoned house, to no avail. Finally, on the 3rd day, Oscar let out one last belting cry which gave away his hiding place. Wet, tired and scared, he snuggled into the arms of his rescuer and buried his head in the crook of her arm. Happy to be alive and warm.
Oscar is a tiny tyke and 7 lbs of love ~ he's the purest white with splashes of tan, his facial markings perhaps suggest a Saint, but we are truly guessing. One thing we know for sure - no one can resist him. Oscar has already been socialized around other dogs (and met cats) and has responded well. He is working on his house training and all things domestic and coming along at a good clip for a puppy his age. We have the utter good fortune of having him in the office daily, and laughing at his puppy antics. We've affectionately nicknamed him Doodle... no one can resist him. |
