4.20 Update...and only 24 hours later!

Nothing is more telling about how fabulous of a dog Margo is than this: My HUSBAND, yes my husband, wants to keep her. He has been bugging me about it since last night. Well, he has fallen in love!

I told him that we cannot keep Margo because we need to be able to foster others. I just wanted to let you know, so you could convey to potential adopters just how wonderful and well trained this dog really is.

Foster Notes 4.19

We started calling her Margo- and she answers to that already, so if its okay, i am just going to keep calling her that.

Sierra/Margo is extremely well behaved- perhaps the most well behaved dog I have ever had in my home. She is an absolute pleasure and very well trained. She is very loyal, loving, and affectionate. She particularly enjoys cuddling, tummy rubs, and having her ears petted. She is also very intelligent and very polite. She learned her name in less than 12 hours. She waits her turn when being fed and receiving treats, and she is very patient. She is completely potty trained and loves her crate. She walks well on a leash. She slept in her crate all night long without a peep. She will let you know when she needs to go outside by approaching the front door and letting out a slight wimper. She is not a big barker either, in fact, she is very quiet. She is not destructive at all, in fact, she is extremely respectful of her surroundings and is not a "chewer." She also really loves who ever it is taking care of her and you can tell she is very grateful. This morning, after I let everyone out to go potty, my rascal dogs were running around the house and she just sat quietly on the floor by my bed while I went back to sleep. She is very calm and very, very sweet. She really truly is the perfect dog- and she deserves the perfect home.

She also seems to be acclimating well with my dogs. My youngest, Bitsy, is the Omega in the household, and I think she sees Margo as her chance to move up in the ranks (she wants Margo to be the Omega). Margo has handled that very well. She just goes along with Bitsy, and when Bitsy tries to stare her down, she simply walks away or won't make eye contact- so I think she is accepting Bitsy's dominance, if that makes sense. Margo does not need to be the only dog in the house, but on a selfish matter, I would like to see her be the only dog so that she can be the center of attention and get all the loves!! Let me know if you need any additional information.

I will try and take some good pictures tonight. Any advice on taking pics of a black dog?
