From her foster....
Sasha is so sweet!
What a great dog and a sweet girl. She is all kisses and cuddles. When we picked her up she had the saddest little face…I think that is the droopy Dane in her. On the ride home she rode up front with me and curled up in the seat and put her head on my lap. At home she has really opened up. She is very playful and has a bit of puppy still left in her. She wrestles with our male lab and even got Gracie our female to play a bit. She is housetrained and slept the whole night on the bed cuddled in between my husband and I (typical lab, huh?!)
Do you know how old she is? I would say less than 2, but she is still pretty goofy so could be even younger. She is probably about 65 lbs now and is pretty filled out.

Another great dog that I am sure will get adopted quickly now that she is in a home.
At ALR, we're fond of the classics but heady for the unique. Case in point, meet Sasha, a prime example of a twist on the classic lab turned up a notch. She's a beautiful black lab shot with a sprinkle of great dane, the resultant cross is stunning and well worth upending tradition.
And we're good with that. And, not the only ones. She's got a fan club all her own at Camp Woof, an entourage of canine friends who await her in day care and a staff who adore her. She's met with kisses, play bows and the like which suits her just fine. Smart, athletic and outgoing, Sasha's joy is spread among her playmates and evidenced in a comical smile. A sunnier personality we'd be hard pressed to find.
And while we could prattle on endlessly about this gem of a girl, meeting her in person will summarily answer any question you may have. Your reward? Sasha lives to love... unconditionally.
