Opie is a 13y/o Lab/Shepherd/Beagle?
mix who weighs about 35 pounds. Opie needs a chance at a good
life- one that she really hasn't had so far in her life.
She is looking for the perfect retirement home- where she can
enjoy her senior years! She is very loving and loves to lay
around with people and be wherever they are. She is great in
the house and is fine when left alone. No chewing or destructive
tendencies. She is up to date on her shots. |

Rhett is a sweet little
boy. He is crate trained. I put him in it when I have to go
run errands and he loves it in there. He goes right in and curls
up. He's good with my other dogs. They love running around playing
in the yard. He like to play with balls but hasn't learned to
bring it back yet. |

Meet Muffin.
We are picking up this little pup today and bringing her into
our program. It is a miracle that everything came together to
enable us to help her. Otherwise, they couldnt let her stay
there injured another day. Thanks to an anonymous donor who
has offered some sponsor money, The Ark Animal Hospital, thats
open 24/7 and Henry County Shelter staff, who was willing to
come in on Sunday and meet Frank. |

Gotti is ridiculously
cute!! His ears are garnering him quite a bit of attention and
chatter around the water bowl.
He's super sweet and playful. Extremely social and having a
ball at doggie daycare, intent on meeting and greeting everyone
who crosses his path. |

He is such a sweetheart!!
He is very gentle and loves people. He cuddles if we call him
up, but has been sleeping on a dog bed in the bedroom. He is
housetrained and very curious. |

Limo and Hummer are onderful
pups that will make someone very happy.
The Story of Limo and Hummer
On Monday, May 9, 2011, animal control responded to a residence
in Duluth with the Fire Department in reference to a gentleman
that needed assistance. The fire department transported him
to GMC in Duluth and we picked up three dogs, two big, youngish
yellow lab mixes and an elderly small dog. The elderly dog passed
away in his pen from unknown causes, most likely a heart attack
from the extreme stress. |

Bishop is a young 6-8
mos. old light yellow almost 'silver' neutered yellow male lab.
Easy going and gentle. He currently weighs about 45-50 lbs and
is a little on the thin side. He is otherwise in good shape
and a very handsome, well behaved boy! |

Jazz is a Black Lab. She
is approx. 8 months old.
Jazz is very sweet and active and loves water! She knows how
to sit too. She will be a great pet for someone. We hate to
give her up, please help us and Jazz. |

We are a small, rural
shelter in NW Alabama, and we got this girl in last week as
a stray. We had thought for sure someone would come looking
for her, but it's been 2 weeks and nobody has. Delta is a very
good girl, social, happy, well-mannered, gentle, totally ball
crazy and happy. She has had some basic obedience as well and
will obey basic commands. |

Chief is quite the puppy.
He loves going to the park and playing with the other dogs.
He loves a lot of attention and is always running around with
a toy in his mouth begging to be played with.
He is definitely housebroken and is learning not to jump. |

Twixi, Starbuck and Kirk
are chocolate littermates. Twixi and Starbuck are female and
Kirk is the lone male.
He adores his sisters and is happy to be a prince among princesses.
They are only 4 months old and were living outside, kenneled. |
